Hi all. Even if YOU don't want to read my books, there are those who do. Who are they?

Characters in my novels.

Let me give you an instance. In the current novel I'm still writing, FANDANGO NIGHTS, lonely Crystal picks up a novel. She's fed up staring at the TV screen, so she turns to something more entertaining. Guess what? That novel just happens to be MEG'S JOURNEY. . . .one of mine. Who'd have thought? Hopefully she will enjoy it and recommend it to other characters.

With this boost, I am now considering writing a novel THE LIBRARY MURDERS - which, naturally, will take place in a library where my books are so popular that readers are prepared to murder , drug and maim in order to get to the top of the reading queue. This would be the ultimate accolade, wouldn't it? A sure sign I'd made it, at last?

Hi All. Thank you for coming onto my site to my blog page.

Writing a novel is like running a business service. In business you have customers of all descriptions who have a range of problems and who look to you for solutions.

Writing a novel is more or less the same, except you create all the shitty characters in the first place, you're the one who gives them shitty problems and you still have the shitty job of finding credible solutions. . tee-hee

the image shows the piece which appeared in the magazine, WRITING, (widely known) about an experimental poem I have written. It seems I have invented a new form. There are hundreds of forms of poetry but this one doesn't fit any of them. The poem's called 'O'N THE MOVE and is featured in my poetry book,HOTCHPOTCH. If you are interested in buying this, the link on my book page eventually takes you through to Amazon. It says 'not available' but it should be. Click on the book icon and see what happens. The company which holds stocks (apart from myself) is 2QT publishing in Yorkshire. Any problems let me know through my contact page on this site.

Hi all. The action in my latest novel, FANDANGO NIGHTS, has stepped up another notch. Believe it or not I got a bit stuck around page 100 but, guess what, I'm now on page 210. I'm still not exactly sure who will be responsible for what. They're such a mean lot, any one of them could cause utter mayhem. You will be amazed at the number of dances covered in this story. Every time they are at the dance club, they learn new steps. So far club members have tried (not always successfully): Salsa, Waltz, Cha-Cha-Cha, Foxtrot, The Twist, Samba, Jive, Paso Doble, Charleston, Line Dance, Rumba, Two-step, Barn dance, Hokey Cokey. But there's plenty going on inbetween as well. After all, who joins a dance club to learn new steps?

Fancy a dance, anyone???
