If you're in Grange-over-Sands, Cumbria this weekend, 17th and 18th August, come and visit me at the literary fesitval to be held at the Thornleigh Hotel, 26, The Esplanade. I will be there with all my books ready to chat. It's only a small event but there's lots going on all Saturday and much of Sunday including the opportunity to meet other authors. We'll be in the garden, rain or shine, unless there's a tornado! PS I've changed my hairdo since the picture below was taken.One or two of the books illustrated are now out-of-print, but many more have been added to the collection.
My new novel, COMA, is quite a challenge. About Anne, a bristly woman who falls on slippery cobblestones and goes into a coma. But police suspect she was pushed deliberately. There are a one or two suspects but nothing can be proved. Only Anne can say for sure who did it and she's unconscious. While she is in hospital, her friends, family and colleagues all have a reaction to her accident, some concerned, others not so, but all wondering whether she will ever leave hospital alive. It's certainly giving me something to work on over the summer.
