I have amassed about sixty poems inbetween writing novels. At the moment they are languishing on my laptop so it's time to publish another book. They are poems on Nature, Life, Love, Humour, Tragedy and UK Politics. It's been a particularly lively year with the General Election and the Referendum, so I've taken full advantage. The anticipated cover is shown but the booklet probably won't be available to buy for another month. There's a lot of work to do setting out all the poems on the template. Needless to say, the humorous poems are my favourite. The political tend to be humorous as well. . . afterall it's politics. Take care. Julie

Hi All. I am posting pictures of my play, STORE WARS, performed at the end of July along Kendal High Street. I did take a video but it's a bit wobbly and the sound isn't good. These photos give you a flavour of the atmosphere. Luckily the weather was good and we had a prime site so there were always quite a few people stopping to watch. The actors were brilliant and the director really knew how to get the most from my script. I would say I've learnt a lot by listening and watching the director. This has informed my writing to a degree.

Hi All. Thanks for visiting my blog whether you are returning or here for the first time.

I've started writing a new novel. Working title, ALL THAT GLISTENS. It's a follow up from my previous novel, NEVER SAY GOODBYE. It's about Manchester townies who for various reasons find themselves at Blackrock, the fictitious coastal village on the English north east coast.

When word gets about that one of the longstanding residents has a collection of valuable beach pebbles, there are those of evil intent who would like to get hold of them, one way or another. it will be sometime before it's finished but there are already lots of completed novels on my books page. Note. MEG'S JOURNEY and ESSENCE OF EVIL, are available ONLY from the publisher, feedaread.com

Bye for now.
