LIVELY AND WARM

A lively and very warm evening at The Three Mariners in Lancaster with Big Charlie Poet and his open mic night, 'Working Title.' Listened to lots of excellent poets. I read three poems from my book of rhymes, WORD PIE. The first was THE NORTH WESTERLY which I wrote in response to the continuous biting winds this Spring. The other two were WHO'S ONLINE, a rather cheeky view of online dating, and HIT THE ROAD MAC, almost a rap.There was a very good atmosphere and everyone got rapturous applause. I even managed to negotiate the nearby gated car park.
