In the graveyard

An entertaining and informative evening at the Castle Street writing group, thanks to our brilliant leader, Chris Tyler and his very clever, hospitable helper, Adrian Attwood who presented his contribution with gusto. Just a small group for a change but some useful critique. It was monologue night and I put forward a chapter of the novel I am working on, FAR SIDE OF THE LAKE. In this piece, my main character stands alone by her mother's grave in a therapeutic one-sided conversation. She recalls how difficult it's been looking after Dad and how little help, brother Steve is, amongst other things. No more meetings now until September.
