A 'gaggle' of poets...

A collection of poets gathered this evening at the Mortal Man Hotel, Troutbeck.nr Windermere, www.themortalman.co.uk

Karen Lloyd, Harriet Fraser and Sean Hurt presented their own original work while bubbly Mortal Man proprietor, Kate Barkes, gave her own inimitable presentation of some classic monologues. Lisa Smallshaw also joined us to read some clever ditties. I read verses from my books: Hotchpotch and Wordpie, as well as a gruesome short story, Watch the Birdie, from Tall Tales.
