LIVELY WEEK

Thank you to the very appreciative audience at the spoken word evening at the Mortal Man near Windermere. Every week is different but a lovely bunch of people this week and an especial thank you to the couple who bought my book, HOTCHPOTCH.

A great evening, too, at the SPOTLIGHT CLUB spoken word evening at the Storey Institute, Lancaster. I read a new short story, an Alice in Wonderland facetious spoof. I have transported Alice in Wonderland characters into my local surroundings. They notice all kinds of rules and regulations which don't seem to make sense, but there is always a 'reasonable???' explanation. Not sure whether everyone got it. . . haha. . . but it makes me smile. Julie
